Hampden Park
Mount Florida, Glasgow

Hampden Park, Glasgow, aerial photograph
The Scottish National Stadium in the south side of Glasgow.

As well as football it houses the Scottish Football Museum which as well as telling the story of Scottish football hosts tours of the stadium which is also used for major concerts.

This view from the south-east.

Coming round to the south.

The ground on the left is The City Stadium (Lesser Hampden) where Queen's Park F.C. play their home games (they used the main stadium for many years). Queen's Park are the oldest association football club in Scotland, the tenth oldest on the planet, having been founded in 1867 and they currently play in the Scottish Championship.

From the east. This is the away end, the other end with the Saltire is for home support.

These photos were taken in low winter sunlight, hence the shadows.

The front door and museum entrance.

There's the obligatory café but they seem not to serve pies and Bovril so that's disappointing.
