Coming into Ardrossan from Brodick on Arran. This is the ferry that's been out of service for about two years.

This hard turn into the berth is the main reason that this port can't be used by the new ferry Glen Sannox (the one that was delivered umpteen years late).

The plan now is to sell this port into public hands and adapt it for the new ferry and its sister ship, also greatly delayed. The snag is, that will then close this port for a year or two as it's dredged and adapted.

It's about a thirty minute turn round before she sets off again to Arran.
