Highland Mary Sculpture & Museum
Dunoon, Argyll

The whole area from offshore.

The main coast road loops round the castle rock with the museum further back and the statue on the lower hillside.

Highland Mary (Mary Campbell) was associated with Robert Burns and she came from the Dunoon area.

The museum in the Castle Park.

From the south-east.

She's set on the lower face of Dunoon Castle (very much in ruins) looking over the main pier.

The simple inscription on the statue reads “Burns' Highland Mary”.
