Assloss Community Garden is in a corner of Dean Castle Country Park and is in an
area known as “The Giant's Coffin““”. Seemingly something to
do with the shape of the walled garden.
As well as raised beds (some easy to access for those less willing or able to bend down) there's also a poly-tunnel and a full set of gardening kit available.
Oddly when these photos were taken on a midweek afternoon there wasn't a living soul in sight.
Open to the pubic and with car parking on Assloss Road the garden is a popular spot for family visits and picnicking. There are also toilets nearby.
