Troon

The clubhouse for the three municipal golf courses in Troon; Darley, Fullerton and Lochgreen.

In the distance is Arran along with the town of Troon and the Arran ferry.

There are three courses here all with the first tees and eighteenth greens round the clubhouse and they spread north and south and virtually surround the town, along with a few other courses. Seven in total. Six clubhouses locally and another course edges the town.

Troon station (on the Stranraer - Ayr - Glasgow line) is right next to the courses.

The clubhouse has a café with an excellent reputation, also open to non-golfers as well as a pro shop and online booking.
