Arriving and departing Ayr on a sunny afternoon in July.
On this occasion there were three attempts to line up at the pier and eventually the Waverley was nudged to line up with the dock by the Pilot Boat (third photo).
This cruise (like many others) was fully booked despite a recent fuel surcharge on tickets.
Waverley carries passengers around the Firth of Clyde and west coast of Scotland during the summer months as well as along the south coast of England and the inner Hebrides.
